The ultimate movie!

I just saw The Bourne Ultimatum and it is by far the best movie I've seen this year. Sequels are usually worse than their predecessors, but the Bourne Series is an exception. Bourne Supremacy bettered Bourne Identity and Bourne Ultimatum is now easily the best of all.

The story starts-off where Supremacy ends. Bourne escapes out of Moscow and decides to retrace his past. He meets a reporter who is covering something about operation BlackPriar. This triggers a few CIA people and they decide to kill Jason. Bad Choice!! Our hero survives all the assassination attempts and gets to his past finally.

The movie starts off in the top gear and just races off. The action sequences are stunning. Especially the one in Tangier, Morocco where Bourne moves around the roof-tops to save his friend is one of the best sequences in the movie. And the final car chase in New York is unbelievably true! The shaky cinematography is a bit irritating in the beginning, but as the movie progresses it kind of gives you the feeling that you are with the characters all the time. Editing is crisp (deserves an Oscar).

Jason Bourne, unlike other heroes (like James Bond, John Mclane, Ethan Hunt etc.) doesn't believe in cool gadgets or fancy acrobatic stuff. Rather he is exceptionally intelligent and calculative. The way he opens the safe in CIA headquarters is an example. That's what makes the movie more believable to its counterparts.

So what are you waiting for. Fasten your seat belts for one hell of a ride!!!
