Hollywoods offerings this summer..

It is a given that I watch a hell lot of movies. Apparently, I missed watching them on the big screens during the last 2 years where the comfort of an hostel bed forces one to embrace laziness as the new religion. However, now that I’m back to the job of having a job, the movie frenzy is about to set in lieu of the upcoming summer.

I opened the account yesterday with Rango, a fine animated film with voice over from the likes of Jonny Depp and Abigail Breslin. The visuals are gorgeous despite the whole story taking place in a desert (most animation movies have eye-popping colors). The story is good enough for a animation movie and moves at a brisk pace. The screenplay staggers a bit towards the end and turns predictable. It is to be noted that Rango is not for everyone - especially kids. Not that there are any offend-able content, but it is not exactly a movie that kids would find adorable.

Top movies to look forward for this summer

Movies adapted from comic books are galore in this summer . New heroes are being introduced to the silver screen - Green lantern, Captain America & Thor. The following are the top 10 movies I'm eagerly looking forward to.

Hangover - Part II
Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides
Cars 2
