It ain't that simple!

For some reason, I ended up pondering over the fact why I never had a girl friend (ok ok, stop smirking right now). I was legally eligible to marry during the last 7 years and was financially eligible to have a girl friend for the last 4 years. You may wonder why I couldn't, but the actual answer is I didn't. Why? because I know I couldn't.

I further wandered into the realm of the whole girlfriend and marriage things. The first thing you hear out of a married guy's mouth is 'Never get married'. But people still do. Men are subconsciously afraid of marriage and they freak out (internally) that someday, someone will call him 'dad' and will take away all the money that he has earned. It is also worth noting that we men don't grow up. We like to stay kids forever. Also some people wrongly assume that men mature after marriage, but they just stop talking which is wrongly taken to the fact that they think a lot!

Women, on the other hand are too complex. They think complex, they act complex, they speak complex. The problem is they think that men can keep up with them and this is what creates all the problems. Women want men to understand everything they say or emote. But we don't. We haven't got the slightest idea what's going on those complex brains. If a man says something, he actually means it (this doesn't include 'you're beautiful') or he doesn't care. But if a women says something... well, I don't know what it means. And also women leave this subtle signals that are too ambiguous and it is impossible to decipher. A complex algorithm, that we can crack! But these signals, I don't think we would be anywhere nearer even after a lifetime's worth of research work.

It still beats me how marriages work. The bottom line is Men can't understand Women. This is the universal truth and we have to accept it. Biologically, men have the urge to figure out everything that is mysterious. And woman is the most mysterious thing in this world. That's why, for millions of years, they find themselves associated with women irrespective of all the relationship woes. A few of them have given up. One - the eternal bachelors and two - the kind who are fighting for 377 to be abolished.

And why did I write this post? I had got nothing to do for the last three days other than sitting at my home, eating delicious home made food, sleeping at will, listening to local radio, watching loads n loads of tamil channels and reading all the crap in the internet.
