Stunning - that's the one word I would use to describe Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. A great end! Most of the things happened as I and my friends predicted. The final battle at Hogwarts was just breathtaking and the final duel between Harry and Voldemort causes goose-bumps..
The book arrived only at 6:30 in the evening on Saturday. And I completed it at 6:45 AM in the morning, the next day. Even a power shut down for 15 minutes at 3:00 AM in the morning couldn't stop me.
The movie makers have a uphill task of converting this to a movie.
J.K Rowling, thanks very much for Harry Potter and Hogwarts.
I was in a complete Harry Pottery mood all weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd did I not tell you Snape s good!!!
ReplyDeletei agree that the book is a master pie ce but the battle at hogwarts and the final scene between farry and voldy could at the best be called mediocre (actually a bit childish and ridiculous).
ReplyDelete>>the final duel between Harry and Voldemort causes goose-bumps..
ReplyDeleteDei this is too much... do u call that duel.. It's as usual harry wins by sheer dumb luck. The Elder wand guards his owner so voldy's curse backfires... The boy lives again...
I really wonder why harry doesn't use any other spell other than expelliarmus :P Lupin rightly says "they are death eaters if u don't want to kill them at least do stupefy...
I agree the way the story was told was too good.. but as far as Harry is concerned i am completely disappointed :(
@rebel,
ReplyDeleteeverybody knew that Snape was good :)
@venkat,
IMO, the battle at Hogwarts was amazing. It will make a excellent climax in the movie.
@vigneshwar,
When harry calls Voldy as 'Tom Riddle' I was feeling wonderful. And if you hadn't it isn't my problem :)
